This two-hour class will give you an overview of Google Suite, how it differs from a personal Google account and how Google Suite can be used in an educational setting to make life easier and more efficient for both you and your students.

Google Slides, part of Google Suite, gives you and your students easy access from any Internet device (aka smart phones, iPads, Chromebooks, PCs, Macs) to an easy-to-use program that builds great online slideshows that can be shared, embedded, downloaded and even transformed into videos. Google Slides are perfect for teacher presentations and student projects. Be surprised what a great classroom tool Google Sheets can be! From analyzing data, to managing grades to creating and sharing graphs, Google Sheets is easily modified to meet a wide range of classroom projects.

2033 - WATERCOLOR FOR STRESS RELIEF (FULL): You don't need to know how to draw to benefit from the relaxing environment that watercolor painting creates. Dabbling with paint can keep you in the present moment and remove the daily stressors. This class is for anyone who would like to learn how to put paint (and water) to paper. Whether you just want to play, create a watercolor journal or use watercolors as a classroom activity, this class is for you! All materials will be provided and some you can take with you. (Maximum 10 participants)

2034 - INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION FOR GRADES 4 AND 5This is a special six-hour, one-day training for all 4th and 5th grade classroom teachers. The training will assist you in integrating instructional technology into the 4-5 curriculum. Technology, when used by students as an integrated part of the curriculum, has been shown in study after study to improve student performance. The training will:

1. Replace activities you are now using, not add to your workload,
2. Be conducted by your 4th/5th grade teacher colleagues,
3. Give you clear instructions on specific projects related to the 4-5 curriculum,
4. Give you ready-to-use materials and ideas that you can put into practice on day one of the next school year,
5. Include 4 hours of online training done on your own schedule between June 19 and the first day of fall inservice,
6. Include support throughout the school year to ensure that you are comfortable, confident and successful in implementing instructional technology strategies.

2040 - BREAKOUT KITS: Have you ever been to an "Escape Room"? Have you mastered the ability to solve complex puzzles and clues? Well BreakOut boxes are an easy way to bring the "Escape Room" model into your classroom. Kits are aligned with CCSS lessons and students work in groups to "break out" of their kit. Each BreakOut lesson's clues are centered around specific content, collaboration and grit. This is a fun and engaging way to work on necessary skills in a fresh and unique way! Come to the training and hope you can "break-out" before times up!
